It's already our third session! now it will be about one of our chosen topics:
The feminist movement.

For many, feminism is only an internet thing in response to the horrible killings that occurred in Chile and Argentina, that lead to the creation of the hashtag #niunamenos. but not for me.
As a man, it's a whole new thing for me to reflect about feminism, but I've been reflecting for about two years I think, and honestly I admire women who have released, or are trying to release themselves from the hierarchy that's been stablished by sexism.
The fact that social roles are determined to only fulfill some actions, is for me an idea that belongs in the past, and maybe not even there. I really think there's a lot to be done in many aspects, specially in education for younger generations.

It's my understanding that this political movement not only looks for recognition of women as equals in all aspects of life, but also the abolition of sexist oppression against women and also men that's applied by social constructs as small as the family, and as big as the state of a country.
To conclude this post, I'll say that it is an obligation for us as men of tomorrow, to recognize our privileges and to fight along with women to end all oppression, not only the sexist one.
Now it's your turn!
Write a 180 word post about feminism. You'll be free to develop your own ideas about it.
But if you need a guide, maybe this can help:
What are your thoughts about feminism?
When did you learn about the movement?
How has feminism affected your view of the world?
I hope you enjoy this post, after all, you chose it.

It's admirable that you want and promote the mind change. there are some mens that think as you but they are the less compared with the sexist mens (and not only men but womens too). it's urgent this change for the lifes that goes behind us can have all the options they want.
ResponderBorrarIs good to read something like that who want to change the minds of the society and look the women more stronger than they thinking.
ResponderBorrarI feel that thanks to the feminist movement, men have begun to observe and understand the problems of women, and this helps build better societies, and don't forget that this attitude should be from both, women and men
ResponderBorrarI totally agree with you, we need to leave in the past every behavior, every idea of social roles. we, as the new generation have to start the change.
ResponderBorrarI agree, I think is not fair for anyone the existence of this huge difference, neither for men nor for women. And I think It's just a thing of education.
ResponderBorrarHi, I'm happy about your post because it shows we have analyzed this movement :) but I want to question you, ¿What things do you do in your daily life to change these injustices?
ResponderBorrargood question!
BorrarI believe I put my efforts into my professional life, treating female and male students the same, also in my private life, sharing all responsibilities with my girlfriend
t is important to understand why these social movements arise, what is targeted and who are affected, both male and female are part of that, and it is essential to generate an equal city in all types of rights.
ResponderBorrari'm happy man are part of feminism and can think, talk and discusse about feminism because everyone learn the concept "feminism"
ResponderBorrarSorry, I forgot completEly to comment your post. I read it the last week, and one of the things that attracted my attention, in addition to your position about the feminism like a man, was the first image that you put in your post. A lot of people is confused with the concept of feminism (and sometimes think that is the same with the feminazism). So I'm glad to see that.
ResponderBorrarcheers!
